    What actually makes FOCZ different from a regular energy drink?

    Regular energy drinks sell you a stimulant and a sugar rush. FOCZ pairs a calibrated 120 mg of caffeine with the actives your brain uses to convert alertness into work — 500 mg of Alpha-GPC, 70 mg of L-tyrosine, L-theanine, and a B-complex. Zero sugar, five calories, no artificial colours or flavours.

    How much caffeine is in a can?

    120 mg per 355 mL can, from natural green tea extract. That is roughly one and a half espressos, and well under the 400 mg per day Health Canada considers safe for most healthy adults.

    Is FOCZ really zero sugar?

    Yes. Sweetness comes from stevia leaf extract at under 0.02 %, comfortably inside Canada's 200 ppm limit. The whole can is five calories.

    What is Alpha-GPC and why is there 500 mg of it?

    Alpha-GPC is a choline compound that crosses the blood-brain barrier and supplies the raw material for acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter tied to focus and recall. 500 mg is the dose used in human research. Below that, it is decoration.

    Will it make me jittery?

    That is the whole reason the dose stopped at 120 mg instead of 200 or 300. L-theanine is in the can specifically to take the edge off caffeine's sharpness. Everyone's tolerance differs — start with one.
